You can’t win if you can’t produce runs. Freddie 

Garcia didn’t lose the game, the hitting just wasn’t 

there in abundance. The Yankees hit zero home 

runs, while Boston had three.

Early in the game the Yankees held a 3-1 lead but 

couldn’t hold it. This ties Boston with NY in the 

won-loss columns in the American league East.

Another game tonight, Wednesday, at Yankee 

Stadium. A.J. Burnett will start, and hopefully, 

finish with Boone Logan coming in in the eighth 

inning and the great, soon-to-be gone Mariano 

Rivera to close.
