As reported on the Fox News, “Fair and Balanced,” Brett Baier Show Tuesday, April 14, 2009, here are the big spenders in Congress — those who strong-armed the House and Senate for money for their own states and projects they believe will get them re-elected. We look at pigs as glutenous.
While the number of specific projects declined by 12.5 percent, from 11,610 in fiscal year 2008 to 10,160 in fiscal year 2009, the total tax dollars spent to fund them increased by 14 percent, from $17.2 billion to $19.6 billion.
Now we look at big spenders as wasters of taxpayer money, disgraceful:
