>RlUSSIA, GO HOME!

>President Bush is saying it, Condi Rice is saying it, President Sarkozy is saying it, Georgia’s President Mikhail Saakaashveli is saying it, Ukraine leaders are saying it, Britain is saying it–everbody is saying it: “Russia go home.” You even hear it now and again in the discredited UN.

That’s another point. How is it that a country like Russia of 160 million people can retain veto power in the UN? I guess they could say Britain has similar power and there are only 70 million Brits.

When a country invades another and signs an agreement to leave, one must honor that commitment. At least, that’s the norm in the community of nations. But there is nothing normal about Russian’s leader Lord Vladimir Putin and his high majesty co-conspirator Demetry Medvedev–Russia’s current version of “Democratic” leaders. Neither is desirous of leaving their conquest, Georgia. They are like the big bad dog who toys with the grasshopper, actually plays with him, before he devours it.

There’s too much at stake. Putin and Medvedev have a distinct sense of history. They can remember the last Vladimir Tsar who had invluence in what is now Ukraine, which may have also included some of Georgia.

Grand Prince Vladimir Monomakh (1053-1125) was the last great ruler of Kievan Russia. Some 10 years after his death, Kiev was sacked in an intra-Russian dynastic war. A century later, the great Mongol invasions destroyed the early Russian state in Kiev (for it was weakened by internecine conflict, slaughter and death), and the people and rulers fled north to central Russia, where they founded the precursor of the modern Russian state.

Do not listen to Galician Uniate propaganda claiming that this prince was a “Ukrainian”. Putin and Medvedev will tell you that the term did not exist until the 19th century, and the political and national concept of such is a “20th century artifice.” Vladimir is one of the seminal figures in early Russian history,

The current Vladimir may believe he is the reincarnation of the Ninth Century Vladimir. He has visions of grandeur and imperialistic hopes. Together, Vladimir and Demitry don’t want just Georgia, they want control of the oil going to the West. They want Saakaashveli to resign so they can install someone more favorable to their side.

In other words, Tsar Putin wants another puppet, one who is malleable in his hands, capable of being changed or controlled by him. That’s why they are lying about the “agreement” brokered by French President Sarkozy on behalf of the European Union. That’s why there are still thousands of Russian “inspectors” running around Georgia scaring the people. Fear is the tool and byword of the tyrant.
