>What’s Wrong: Double Talk From Obama and His Minions

>

I read the Huffington Post’s article by Robert Creamer which mimics the President’s lack of coherence. The subject was Guantanamo, and of course you know Obama blames Bush for everything including the fact Obama lacks a plan to evacuate Gitmo. It’s all nonsense. I’ll give you the hyperlink after you read this article.

Robert Creamer and Barak Obama are from the same deplorable background, community (political) organizers. They think alike, illogically. Bringing the terrorists to America will make the U.S. safer? And it is really George Bush’s problem of what to do with the Gitmo detainees because he built the prison? Grow up, Mr. President. You’re the leader now. Where’s your plan?

You gotta be kidding when you say Gitmo is the problem! I say Obama’s thinking is the problem. Neither the president nor the writer Creamer have logical heads. Where are the hard facts or logic backing up of what they say about Gitmo or what Creamer wrote? There are none.

Release the memos lauding the effectiveness of water boarding and other enhanced interrogation techniques. If the president won’t be “transparent” as he promised in the campaign — if he would rather propagandize national security documents like a tyrannical dictator — he is creating his own problems. Mr. President, stop digging the hole of your own political demise.

Nothing could be farther from the truth that we’re going to be safer — or even feel safer — living around criminals. When people have the choice, they move away from known prison parolees, known public offenders, drug addicts and peddlers, pedophiles, and other sex offenders and anti-socials.
For obvious reasons, we don’t choose to have our children associate with them. For our own safety we avoid living in certain areas of town. Call that discrimination because of course it is. As much as possible, good people gravitate away from anti social or bad citizens — which in our definition includes all terrorists or people out to kill innocent men, women, and children, change our way of life, destroy the Constitution, and impose upon us Sharia law of Islam.

To use the solemnity of the National Archives to make a loony speech doesn’t give one credibility. To have the Obama government force terrorists onto mainland USA soil makes no sense at all. Then the administration in wonder asks: “Why won’t Congressional Democrats fund Obama’s move from Gitmo?” Because this president is not logical and he lacks a plan. It is also because they know there are no states lobbying for terrorists inside their borders, an understatement of monumental proportions.

Take funding power away from Obama and he disembles into this simpleton phantom of destruction guy that makes even those who voted for him shudder and he evolves into the opposite of what he promised in the campaign, an open, transparent, honest broker. His secret side is not hard to detect. There’s a pattern of speech that you pick up. When he says something, for example, he often means to do just the opposite, hiding intent from Americans until all his building blocks are set up and there is no chance for honest debate. For example, here’s what I predict: Obama still has some Tarp or Stimulus money hanging around in some closet of the Oval Office just waiting to bribe some state. I predict he will easily solve the quandry of where to send the terrorists by bribing a big state in a financial mess to take the terrorists and in return he will promise to balance their budget. The deserts of California comes to mind. In return, a new Gitmo with a pleasant name like the “California Sanctuary of Misplaced Persons (CSOMP)” will emerge.

Obama is the great deceaver. With the subtlety of Satan, he brandishes the heavy hand, unafraid of printing new money which is sending us reeling into hyper-inflation.

Government’s chief duty is to protect its citizens, not push them in front of a bus. Right thinking people like George Bush, Dick Cheney, and virtually every parent in America are unanimous on that issue. We put our kids in Boy and Girl Scout programs because they teach honor, honesty, patriotism, survival, and many other things including the dignity and usefulness of hard work and achievement in developing character and a good life. We teach them to recite the Pledge of Allegiance (to America) which, thanks to the Democrats’ left-wing judges, is missing these days from schools. Sadly, Obama and Creamer missed that part of their education.

There has been no safer prison anywhere than Gitmo — no one has ever escaped. There isn’t a supermax prison anywhere any safer or with a better record. That’s Obama’s fallback position — disperse these terrorists in supermax prisons throughout the country. That way they are more difficult to track and he hopes the press and the right wing may just forget about them.

If you close Guantanamo, you create more problems not fewer. Arab nations won’t like America any more by closing this prison, knowing their terrorists are in America somewhere. Their problem is they don’t like anything American because most of us don’t adhere to Islam. Their goal is to make all mankind Muslims. They won’t be satisfied until they destroy America, and that includes hundreds of thousands, or even millions, of Americans who rise up against them.

Those homegrown alleged terrorists the FBI caught plotting covert acts of destruction earlier this week were all Muslims. They learned their aggressive Muslim ways in U.S. prisons, which argues against loading up our prisons with Muslim terrorists.

Obama is looking more like a Neville Chamberlain every day, except the president is worse. Chamberlain never apologized for and criticized Britain — a scuzzy tactic that Obama reverts to each time he’s on foreign soil. He longs to be popular with our neighbors and our enemies while destroying the confidence of nations in America which has taken decades to build up. He and Vice President Biden have gone a long way in destroying any security we ever had. Now we have a weakened CIA, thanks to Nancy Pelosi and the president. At one point, Obama’s desire to negotiate first and use force later won’t be possible because no one’s going to believe in America anymore. He’s our commander in chief but also our chief negative drum beater, a man who believes anything American must be bad. Hey, isn’t it coincidental that thanks to his effective tirades many more Arabs across the globe are drinking Obama’s anti-American KoolAid too? Obama, not Gitmo, has become the symbol of hate. He is the reason more and More Muslims are signing up to help al quaida and the Wahabbi’s destroy the West.

While reading the Huffington Post, I saw an article that said Gates is for everything Obama stands for. That’s hardly surprising because if he’s anything he’s obsequious. He values his job more than he values America, it seems. He makes the argument, same as Obama and Robert Creamer, that the Arabs won’t like us until we vacate Gitmo. He says the name means something bad in Arabic. If so I made the following comment which was published in that infamous publication:

“If Gates is right, all Obama must do is dream up some extravagant new name for Gitmo as he did with the phrase ” fight against terrorism” (Overseas Contingency Arrangement). All will be well — just leave the prisoners there under false pretenses and a new name. Mr. Obama has not been transparent or forthcoming when he doesn’t want to reveal the positives of enhanced means of interrogation, so why should he have to be honest regarding this?

My suggestion would be to call the facility “APOR, America’s Plan Of Redemption.” But they won’t like that either because “redemption” is a Christian word and Muslims don’t believe Jesus Christ is the savior and redeemer of mankind, do they? Then just call it APOR and let them figure it out.” On second thought, call it “OBAMA — Obama Against Millitary Aggression.”

“Transferring Some Guantanamo Detainees Out of Gitmo Will Actually Make America Safer” is an article in Huffington Post by Robert Creamer

>Ship Gitmo Prisoners To Alaska

>

by Don White

Is there a wrong way to make a mistake?. That’s what I and many others consider closing down Guantánamo. If he was going to close Giutmo, the prison camp, Obama did the right thing in making it a presidential order, despite comments of New York Law School visiting professor, Brandt Goldstein in a Huffington story. The president did it quickly and decisively, pleasing his supporters and angering the right.

Goldstein suggests Congress enact a law so that Gitmo can never be reopened, making sure Mitt Romney, a possible new president in four years, doesn’t reverse this decision if all doesn’t go well under the inexperienced Obama. I’ve got news for you, Goldy, all presidential decisions can be reversed by subsequent presidents. Look what Obama has done already to the conservative Bush mandates such as abortion.

But Obama has far more important things on his plate right now than inviting a Congressional fight that would divide, not unite the country. He needs to concentrate on ending the wars, leveling the economic playing field without taxing away our ability in America to create jobs, giving make-work infrastructure jobs to all non-whites (as suggest by Robert Reich), solving the Social Security puzzle, and determining how not to raise taxes on anyone making less than $250,000. Did I say that? Yes, he won’t raise enough money to pay for his extravagant multi-trillion-dollar spending bills with just taxing the rich who make over $250,000 a year. Mark my words. When he’s done he will have incresed taxes on everyone making more than $50,000 a year.

Indeed, his plate is full. He doesn’t need dissent – he’s got plenty of that already, what with his announcement he will raise energy prices drastically to keep his “green” promises. He wants to revert to a seldom used Senate rule called “Reconciliation” where the Senators have only 20 hours to consider spending bills coming up from the House. If he is successful in stifling debate in the Senate we might as well not have a Senate. That is the body that is charged with lengthy debate. Senators are supposed to be our brightest and best debaters, our last hope against tyranny. If this happens, mark my words — no these are Rush Limbaugh’s and Sean Hanity’s — we will then be a dictatorship, why stop at socialistic regime.
In several strokes of the pen in one week Obama took this country back to the dark ages in social and economic policy and has managed by himself to alienate the right wing. After he had indicated, in not so many words but actions, that he would not run the country as a far left-wing radical, he has gone back on that impression and is

following to the hilt all of his campaign promises.

You who voted for him because of his blackness, intelligence, speaking ability, and charm before liberals at Jay Leno and in his frequent press conferences which are just another venue for him to filabuster,, not to, but at the American people. He orchestrates everything so that he can do the most talking. He even has a list prepared of those reporters he will allow to ask questions. See, there’s no democracy already in the East Room of the White House. It’s a new kind of press conference we are seeing, not open, not freewheeling. but boring. And those are the words of people like Hugh Huett, who has seen many press conferences, and even Democrat pundits. He even uses a large teleprompter so that he looks to the TV viewing audience that he’s speaking impromptu, but he isn’t. He has it all on the screen twenty paces in front of him so that he doesn’t misspeak again.

I was wrong. I said he was first a left-wing radical politician. There have been others. Just watch the White House guest list to see who will occupy the biggest West Wing

bedrooms and you’ll know I’m right. Then you, too, will awaken to the truth –

Obama doesn’t know what he’s doing. He opted for the executive directive to save

face; he left the Gitmo deal to execute in one year, not tomorrow because,

frankly, he doesn’t have a clue as to what he’s going to do with those 200 to

300 prisoners.

I got diverted away from Gitmo, and that, too, was orchestrated by Obama. He doesn’t want to discuss it until next January. But I do have the best solution: I suggest he set up a prison in South Chicago near his elite subdivision, but you will see the special prison we build for these people who would like to wipe America off the face of the earth will cost us upwards of one hundred million dollars and the good Demos from Chicago would be burning down the phone lines if Obama tried to do this.
“Imagine the jobs you could create in your home city, Barak.”

He will turn it down, of course. But hey, how about Nevada? Nope, that’s Harry’s state. Then Utah. Bob Bennett and Orin Hatch are Republicans and Obama liberals would like to see them squirm.

That’s how it will go and states will spend millions lobbying not to have the facility built in their states. It will become as toxic an issue for the states as the nuclear waste facility.
I do have the ultimate answer. Put them up in Alaska, the far north part. It’s isolated and if they do get out they’ll freeze to death trying to walk away. You say there isn’t enough timber and cement up there? Well, get some chain saws and carve ice blocks and make an ice house. You can’t heat it of course, but that’s the plan.

The global warming lie was most evident this year during the coldest winter in recent history, where it was 50 degrees below zero just a month ago in Alaska. You can save money, just turn off the heat. Alaskans are used to the cold, but the Arabs and others in Gitmo aren’t. That may turn out to be the best form of torture we could devise. They’ll spill the beans, after we promise we’ll let them a cell in a warmer clime.

>Republicans Are The Party of "Getting America Right," Not The Liberal Left-Wing Democrats

>Barak Obama has his sights set on reversing all of George Bush’s moderate and conservative actions, changes so startling and aggressive it is as if he were taking a knife to the white man’s throat, “setting thing right”

You can sense the pent-up Democrat frustration now focused on making those who support conservative measures bend their knees as never before, and it is about these liberal, self-defeating actions by the Democrats that conservatives think of their mission in life as “Getting America Right” after Obama has ruined it, and, hopefully, no later than 2012.

A team of four dozen advisers worked for months in virtual solitude, consulting with liberal advocacy groups, identifying regulatory and policy changes Obama is now implementing.

Transition advisers compiled a list of about 200 Bush administration actions and executive orders that are being swiftly undone to reverse White House policies on climate change, stem cell research, reproductive rights and other issues, according to congressional Democrats.

“The kind of regulations they are looking at” are those imposed by Bush for “overtly political” reasons, in pursuit of what Democrats say was a partisan Republican agenda, said Dan Mendelson, a former associate administrator for health in the Clinton administration’s Office of Management and Budget.

Here are some of the actions the black president is taking to put down the hated white man. Such hatred should be reserved for terrorists, not a president who kept us safe for eight years:

1. Abortion — Funding for abortion literature and help to abortion clinics. Remember, this is the same Barak Obama who told the Pope recently that he was against abortion. The man cannot be trusted. When he’s in Israel he assures Olmert that he is on their side. When he is visiting with Plalastinian Muslim and the Hamas he assures them he is not their enemy. Whose side is he on, anyway? Probably neither, which is a dangerous foreign policy position.

The new president has lifted a so-called global gag rule barring international family planning groups that receive U.S. aid from counseling women about the availability of abortion.

2. Repeal the Ronald Reagan Star Wars Defense System. This is an insanely dangerous move, but it will also likely be followed up by an announcement that Obama will not carry out Bush’s plans to ring Eastern Europe with defensive missiles. That would be a foolish mistake, a sure sign of weakness that could invite Vladimir Putin to attack more Baltic States to gain back lost Russian territory. And how can The Ukraine, Finland and Poland feel good about that kind of misdirection which will be interpreted as weakness in the Kremlin?

3. Bush’s controversial limit on federal funding of embryonic stem cell research — controversial only in liberal views and accepted broadly in America where 90 percent of the people say they believe in God– a decision that scientists say has restrained research into some of the most promising avenues for defeating a wide array of diseases, such as Parkinson’s. Since anti-God people are in the minority in the U.S., Obama’s views on this and other issues is the one that may be viewed as the most highly controversial.

4. Environmental control. The “Green” movement.

As late as a month ago a spokeswoman said that “Before he (Obama) made any decisions on potential executive or legislative actions, he would confer with congressional leaders on both sides of the aisle, as well as interested groups.” The bipartisanship on which Obama ran has already been breached. Republican congressman John Bahner of Michigan said much of the Rupublican House opposition to the $825B bailout bill is because Democrats in the House did not consult with Republicans and allow them to offer counter proposals in the spirit of bipartisanship, but forged ahead alone, drafting a bill that they hoped to stuff down the throats of Republicans and “blue dog” Democrats.

Blue Dog Democratic Coalition is a group of 47 moderate and conservative Democratic Party members of the United States House of Representatives.[1] The Blue Dogs promote, among other things, fiscal conservatism and accountability. Many members come from conservative districts, where liberal Democrats comprise a decided minority of the general population.[citation needed] In 2006, Blue Dog candidates such as Heath Shuler and Brad Ellsworth were elected in conservative-leaning districts, ending years of Republican dominance in these districts.

The Blue Dogs are the political descendants of a now defunct Southern Democratic group known as the Boll Weevils, who played a critical role in the early 1980s by supporting President Ronald Reagan‘s tax cut plan. The Boll weevils, in turn, may be considered the descendants of the “states’ rights” Democrats of the 1940’s through 60’s.

The Blue Dog Coalition was formed in 1994 during the 104th Congress to give more conservative members from the Democratic party a unified voice. The Blue Dogs are viewed by some as a continuation of the socially conservative wing of the Democratic party prominent during the presidency of Harry S Truman. But the only stated policy position of the Blue Dogs is fiscal conservatism, and many of the members of the coalition hold liberal views on social issues such as abortion, stem-cell research, and gay rights.

Bush’s August 2001 decision pleased religious conservatives who have moral objections to the use of cells from days-old human embryos, which are destroyed in Abortion.

Obama is trying to walk both sides of the moral issue street, having had the first openly gay Episcopal bishop offer a prayer at the Lincoln Memorial at an inaugural event, for example. This choice was likely a political response to criticism of Obama for selecting anti-gay marriage pastor Rev. Rick Warren to give the invocation at his January 20 inauguration, according to Western Standard.ca blog.

Warren backed the ban on same-sex marriage that passed in his home state of California on the November ballot, said Newsmax. In trying to keep social conservatives and social liberals happy simultaneously, Obama will likely come to look weak and indecisive.

When Bill Clinton took office in 1993, he rescinded the Reagan-era regulation, known as the Mexico City policy, but Bush reimposed it, said Cecile Richards, the president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. This is part of the “real change” promised by Obama during the election.

While Obama maintains that his top priority is to stimulate the economy and create jobs, his advisers say that focus will not delay key shifts in social and regulatory policies, including some — such as the embrace of new environmental safeguards — that Obama has said will have long-term, beneficial impacts on the economy.

The president has said, for example, that he intends to quickly reverse the Bush administration’s decision last December to deny California the authority to regulate carbon dioxide emissions from automobiles. “Effectively tackling global warming demands bold and innovative solutions, and given the failure of this administration to act, California should be allowed to pioneer,” Obama said in January.

California had sought permission from the Environmental Protection Agency to require that greenhouse gas emissions from vehicles be cut by 30 percent between 2009 and 2016, effectively mandating that cars achieve a fuel economy standard of at least 36 miles per gallon within eight years. Seventeen other states had promised to adopt California’s rules, representing in total 45 percent of the nation’s automobile market. Environmentalists cheered the California initiative because it would stoke innovation that would potentially benefit the entire country. However, Detroit has already signaled difficulties coming in maintaining their auto production while trying to produce more gas efficient and less polluting cars.

“An early move by the Obama administration to sign the California waiver would signal the seriousness of intent to reduce the nation’s dependence on foreign oil and build a future for the domestic auto market,” said Kevin Knobloch, president of the Union of Concerned Scientists.

Before the election, Obama told others that he favors declaring that carbon dioxide emissions are endangering human welfare, following an EPA task force recommendation last December that Bush and his aides shunned in order to protect the utility and auto industries.

Robert Sussman, who was the EPA’s deputy administrator during the Clinton administration and directed EPA transition planning for Obama, wrote a paper last spring strongly recommending such a finding, but that doesn’t make it true. Others have written opposite position papers. It as an issue on which Obama is keen to show that politics must not interfere with his brand of scientific advice.

Some related reforms embraced by Obama’s transition advisers would alter procedures for decision-making on climate issues. A book titled “Change for America,” published by the Center for American Progress, an influential liberal think tank, recommends, for example, that Obama rapidly create a National Energy Council to coordinate all policymaking related to global climate change.

The center’s influence with Obama is substantial: It was created by former Clinton White House official John D. Podesta, a co-chairman of the transition effort, and much of its staff was swept into planning for Obama’s first 100 days in office.

The National Energy Council would be a counterpart to the White House National Economic Council that Clinton created in a 1993 executive order.

“It would make sure all the oars are rowing in the right direction” — actually the direction would be due left — “and ensure that climate change policy “gets lots of attention inside the White House,” said Daniel J. Weiss, a former Sierra Club official and senior fellow with the Center for American Progress Action Fund.

The center’s new book urges Obama to sign an executive order requiring that greenhouse gas emissions be considered whenever the federal government examines the environmental impact of its actions under the existing National Environmental Policy Act. Several key members of Obama’s transition team have already embraced the idea.

Other early Obama initiatives may address the need for improved food and drug regulation and chart a new course for immigration enforcement, some Obama advisers say. But they add that only a portion of his early efforts will be aimed at undoing Bush initiatives.

Despite enormous pent-up Democratic frustration, Obama and his team realize they must strike a balance between undoing Bush actions and setting their own course, said Winnie Stachelberg, the center’s senior vice president for external affairs.

A large part of the Democrats’ frustration is their self-imposed hatred for George Bush and the conservative Republican agenda. They have told themselves for so long that Bush was doing a bad job that they have started to believe it. Unfortunately, some Republicans bought onto that line also, and apparently, like sheep, voted for Obama, which is unfortunate.

“It took eight years to get into this mess, and it will take a long time to get out of it,” Stachelbergerg said. But not as long as they think, especially if Obama continues on the torrid pace he has set in turning over conservative policy.

BEIRUT, Lebanon — The emergence of a former Guantánamo Bay detainee as the deputy leader of Al Qaeda’s Yemeni branch has underscored the potential complications in carrying out the executive order President Obama signed Thursday that the detention center be shut down within a year.

The militant, Said Ali al-Shihri, is suspected of involvement in a deadly bombing of the United States Embassy in Yemen’s capital, Sana, in September. He was released to Saudi Arabia in 2007 and passed through a Saudi rehabilitation program for former jihadists before resurfacing with Al Qaeda in Yemen. Read entire article

>Defense Secretary Chicanery

>Olive Branch, My Foot!

WASHINGTON – The Announcement of Robert Gates as President Obama’s secretary of defense is perfect–at least as far as president-elect Obama is concerned.

It’s a no-lose proposition for the incoming administration. Obama can’t lose with Gates. If he is unable to get America’s involvement with Iraq stopped in 16 months–as campaigner Obama promised time after time he would do–then the voters can’t blame the democrats. It’s a republican in charge at the Pentagon and it will be a republican failure. Even the promised build-up of troops in Afghanistan will be completed by a republican secretary, and if it fails blame it on the Bushies too.

Isn’t it amazing how democrats always turn the tables on republicans, claiming all the credit for any successes and laying off the failures on the outgoing republicans? Clinton did it to George W.H. Bush and now Obama is making a fall guy out of George W. Bush and his republican friends whenever the opportunity arises.

Olive branch, my foot!

If our troops come home and Iraq gets embroiled in a civil war, wiping out all the gains of democratic government there, no one can say it was Obama’s fault. He was taking the advice of his defense secretary who just happened to be a republican speaking “Bushlish.”

Defense Secretary Robert Gates signaled a willingness Tuesday to forge ahead with two key priorities for the incoming Obama administration: accelerating the U.S. withdrawal from Iraq and shutting down the Guantanamo Bay detention center.

With or without an Obama victory, military commanders have been long looking at ways to more quickly pull troops out of Iraq.

This writer thought it was a mistake in the 1970s during the Carter Administration when we caved in to Panama pressure, gifting them the American territory called the Panama Canal Zone. Now we’re prepared to close down both Gitmo and the Navy’s strategically important base on the Cuban Island. Our national security relied on those two properties and without those strategic locations America will become more vulnerable to infiltration and attack from without.

What–will Russia take over that base when we abandon it? They are already doing naval exercises with Chavez’s Venzuelan naval forces in waters very near our shores. If that had happened during the Kennedy and Nixon watches, we would have put a stop to it, but Obama and Bush seem helpless and unable to act or do anything but smile blithely on a deteriorating sign of weakness hoping for the best.

It takes years to build a military presence and only an election to topple it. And, mind you, it is by a president who has no military experience.

In a blunt and occasionally personal briefing, Gates acknowledged his unique position in the new Democratic administration — a job he said he did not want or seek but felt he could not turn down.

Since there is no time table for Gates leaving government, if things go badly Obama will look good again by firing Gates and replacing him with one of his own people. If Gates continued presence at Defense represents “Change” I have really missed something.

>It Took Almost Eight Years To Get Him

Documents: Ivins had custody of purified anthrax

WASHINGTON –
Remember the Anthrax enevelope scare seven years ago? Some madman was sending people letters laced with the deadly anthrax spores with certain genetic mutatuons. The Army and FBI had finally traced this dastardly scheme to kill people to an Army scientist named Bruce Ivins.

But why did it take so long? The report from the AP is that he had sole custody of these highly purified anthrax spores identical” to the poison that killed five people and rattled the nation in 2001. Apparently it took so long because certain documents were sealed and couldn’t be read due to some legal disfugalty. In case you don’t know, you English majors, “disfugalty” is the opposite of “fugalty” which is lack of conflict, and neither word is yet in the dictionary.

Who makes disfugalty? Bad judges and attorneys. I told you they could put all them in a boat and sink it at sea and the world would be none the worse off. Come to think of it, it would take a fleet of 500 super liners to do the trick–and that’s just the bad lot of them from America. I would be happy to be on the business end of the largest cannon.

Investigations take a long time, don’t they? Especially, those sponsored by the FBI or some other government entity. Part of it is because of the sensitivity training one must complete to be an FBi agent. Or haven’t you heard? They send them to Gitmo to ram down their brains the importance of agents not singling out Muslims, because we all know all one-eyed Muslims are not criminals or out to get us, or are they?
